Argentina’s government has just announced its decision to not apply DST this year. DST was about to begin on Sunday, Oct 18th.
All up-to-date systems include a version of tzdata that says that time changes on Sunday. Thus, these systems need to be updated in the next two days if they are to show the correct time next Sunday.
Packages have already been prepared and are being uploaded to unstable, lenny-volatile and etch-volatile. In the meantime, these packages can be used to fix the systems.
Sid’s version has also been tested for Ubuntu’s Jaunty and Karmic.

In the last days, a new version of Xserver has migrated to testing, Brice Goglin blogged about the upcoming migration with some details a few days ago.
This is the first update of Xserver in testing since May 2008, and it is a major upgrade from the previous version. You are encouraged to read /usr/share/doc/xserver-xorg/NEWS.Debian.gz (read online here) to avoid problems and before reporting bugs.

With the latest upload of GRUB 0.97-58 to unstable, the upgrade path is set to GRUB2.
If you want to continue using GRUB Legacy, it is now provided in the grub-legacy package that will continue being supported at least until the Squeeze release. You just need to uninstall the grub dummy package and keep upgrading the mentioned grub-legacy package happily.
Update: Grub maintainers have sent a Bits from the GRUB maintainers email and there is also a wiki page to track this release goal.
